About Giselle Belly Dancer
Giselle first started her career as a professional dancer in Brazil back in 1998. There she performed as a samba dancer for various Brazilian bands such as Banda Ciclone and Swing Brazil. It was only in 2002 she was introduced to belly dance by a good friend of hers named Vanessa Da Silva, a professional belly dance performer and teacher based in London.
The moment Giselle was introduced to belly dance she fell in love with the art and she has now been performing as a professional belly dancer for the past 6 years. Today she entertains audiences around the world at some of the most prestigious restaurants, casinos, weddings and birthday parties and has been regarded as the best belly dancer in the UK by top belly dance professionals.
Giselle has paid tribute to Serena, Hossam Ramzy, Shahar Badri, Vanessa Da Silva, Soraya Zayed, Jameelah Mansour, Randa Kamel, Tito, Mahmoud Reda, Nour and many other wonderful belly dance teachers and performers who have contributed to her success. She feels privileged to have worked with and acquired knowledge from such gifted and talented professionals.
